Remember last week when I made the baby hat from what I called "fiery yarn" and said I was stash busting? Well, this is why I called it fiery, and what I bought it for in the first place.

I used a simple beanie pattern, and then this chart to get the Phoenix. I didn't change yarns for the different colours, obviously :) though it would look pretty good as written too.

Bit big for Master Eight, but then, it wasn't made for him, he's just being my handy, dandy, stand-in model.
