I'm making a concerted effort to clear out my languishing posts from last year. This is a little something I made for my niece back in April, to cheer her up during a hospital stay, when she first found out she had diabetes.

I can't find the pattern I used, I think I pretty much winged it. I was in a bit of a hurry at the time and didn't take any notes.

My niece loves ladybugs, so for her birthday I made her this cute scarf and phone cozy set. I had already started on the scarf (from this pattern) when I found out she was getting a mobile phone for her birthday from her parents, so I made up the cozy to go with it.

I made that cozy the night before her party. Ok, so I'm a little smug here, but she loved it, and has been taking it to school everyday with her phone in it, so clearly she is not embarassed by it, and that's the best praise you can get from a high school girl right?
