This was a shawl I cobbled together from a few different patterns, and just a bit of winging it. I'd seen this gorgeous knit shawl ($5 on Ravelry) but I knew my newbie knitting skills wouldn't be up to it. I used the end pieces from the cross over scarf with four finger pieces added to make the ends, weaving them together and extending them to the end of the back piece. I used Crocus scarf to wing the back piece.

I made it for my mother in-law for her Mother's day present and she seemed happy with it.
