Based on the success of my tiny flowers, I thought my first square for the charity blanket would be a little garden square.
Technically, we are supposed to be making 12" squares, but Dell is also happy for us to make 4 6" squares. I thought this was a better idea for me, because a 12" square is somewhat daunting, and also, I couldn't make up my mind what sort of square I wanted to make ;)
The green background is not a granny square obviously, it is alternating rows of double crochet, and single crochet in the back loops only. It made a lovely ripple effect, like closely mown grass, that really doesn't show up properly in the photo.
